Another first for Deacons' IP Department 29 May 2006 On 26 May, Deacons became the first firm to make interactive e-filings for trade mark assignments and extensions of time in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is a world leader in interactive e-filing with Government agencies and accordingly these may be the first such filings made anywhere in the world. Under the interactive e-filing system, authorised firms are given online access to alter the official Government records to update information regarding their clients' matters.
