Jiangsu Delegation visits Hong Kong and meets with Deacons lawyers 22 August 2006 On Friday, 18 August, Alexander Que (partner of Deacons’ Corporate Finance Practice Group) Myles Seto (associate of Deacons’ China Practice Group) attended a lunch reception and a sharing session for a delegation from the Jiangsu Province visiting Hong Kong as part of a 4-day Executive Training Programme. Jointly organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Department of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation of Jiangsu Province, this programme is designed to encourage the Jiangsu enterprises to set up their business in Hong Kong, and to explore the overseas market by leveraging on Hong Kong’s trade services. Over 40 CEOs/Senior Executive of quality enterprise and government officials participated in this training programme. During the sharing session, Alex, Myles and other representatives from professional services, such as accountants and business consultants, shared with the delegation on a series of topics such as business environment and regulations, corporate financing, financial management, business etiquette and employment issues in Hong Kong.
