Partner appointment 2 January 2008 Deacons is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Kwan as a partner of our Commercial Litigation Practice with effect from 1 January 2008. Paul has significant experience in civil and commercial litigation, and specialises in resolving disputes involving landlord and tenancy, employment issues, shareholders, general commercial dispute and commercial fraud. He acts for banks, developers, management companies and Incorporated Owners on contentious property, building management and tenancy matters. He handles a wide range of employment matters such as staff redundancy following restructuring and advises on all areas concerning Labour Tribunal proceedings and dealing with Equal Opportunities Commission. He also advises on matters involving shareholders’ dispute, family and estate disputes, sale of goods and distributorship dispute, debt recovery and restructuring, company liquidation as well as receivership.
