Franki Cheung Appointed as Consultant to Guangzhou Municipal Board for International Investment  18 July 2005 Franki Cheung, Partner and Head of China Practice Group, has recently been appointed as a "Consultant to the Guangzhou Municipal Board for International Investment" and was awarded the Certificate of Appointment by Mr. Chen Mingde, Vice Mayor of the Guangzhou Municipal Government, at the "New Developments in Guangzhou and 2010 Asian Games Opportunities Conference". This event was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 7 July 2005 and received extensive coverage in business media in Hong Kong and Guangzhou. Guangzhou Municipal Board for International Investment ("Invest Guangzhou") is a professional institution engaged in promoting international investment in Guangzhou set up by the government.
