Jeff has extensive experience in representing various IPO candidates and public listed companies in capital raisings and other corporate exercises on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange and Singapore Stock Exchange including IPOs, Rights Issues and Bonds Issues. Jeff also has experience acting in domestic and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions, joint ventures, venture capital investment and foreign investment transactions in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Australia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.

Jeff was instrumental in developing the firm’s highly regarded reputation in corporate, securities and investment law in Malaysia and was involved in establishing industry standards and best practices for due diligence in respect of Submissions to the Securities Commission under the Securities Commission Act. Jeff is regularly requested to undertake legal due diligence work in mergers and acquisitions, investment and securities offerings by both foreign investors and domestic Malaysian companies.

Jeff advises on technology contracts including information and communications technology (ICT) matters and acts in commercial litigation, arbitration and insurance and shipping litigation. His shipping and insurance law experience includes ship arrest, cargo claims, ship collisions and marine and other liability insurance claims. Notably, Jeff has previously acted in the corporate restructuring of one of the largest shipping fleets in the world.
