Jennifer is a senior lawyer with more than 8 years post-qualification experience.
Her areas of practice encompass a range of corporate/commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions of private companies and businesses, private equity fund-raising and joint ventures (including shareholders' agreements, sale of shares agreements and sale of business and asset agreements), corporate insolvency and restructuring and employment law.
She has advised private and listed companies, venture capital firms and multi-national corporations in joint ventures, employment matters, bond issues, venture capital fundraising, mergers and acquisitions and general commercial advisory work.
Jennifer was granted an Asean Scholarship by the Singapore Ministry of Education in junior college. She graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) degree in 1995. She was called to the Singapore Bar in 1996. She was an associate director at Drew & Napier from 2003 to 2004 when she joined Deacons Singapore.
She has spoken at conferences and seminars on topics relating to mergers and acquisitions, legal due diligence, employment law and contract drafting techniques. She has also tutored Commercial Practice and mergers and acquisitions in the Post-Graduate Practical Law Course conducted by the Board of Legal Education in Singapore.
