Deacons has long recognised its social obligation to the community and has been actively involved in the Hong Kong community since 1851. That involvement includes our partners, lawyers and staff: making significant annual donations to the Hong Kong Community Chest and other deserving charities; providing pro bono services to various not-for-profit, health research, arts and community organisations such as the Hong Kong Society of Aging Research, ORBIS, SPCA, Hong Kong Ballet and Hong Kong Conservation Photography Foundation; sponsorship and active participation in various industry charities such as the construction industry’s Lighthouse Club and the funds’ industry’s RICE foundation; and supporting the preferred charities and fund raising activities of clients such as SCB (Seeing is Believing), the MTR, Matilda International Hospital and others.
