Corporate Finance - Company Secretary
- A degree holder
- ICSA Associate/Finalist
- A minimum of 6 years company secretarial experience preferably gained in a CPA or legal firm, with the ability to handle full spectrum of secretarial duties including company set-up, on-going administration and corporate restructuring. Previous corporate secretarial experience and involvement in the whole process of an Initial Public Offering transaction is definitely an advantage
- Good communication skills in both English and Chinese languages (Cantonese and Putonghua)
- Computer literate, preferably with knowledge in Viewpoint
- Independent and meticulous
- Experience in compliance with disclosure of interests requirements under the Securities and Futures Ordinance

Our Financial Services Practice Group is now recruiting a Funds & Regulatory Executive for handling regulatory and compliance matters relating to funds authorized by the SFC. The successful candidate will assist clients in preparing fund applications for SFC's authorization and will also advise clients on matters relating to the on-going compliance with the applicable SFC's rules and regulations.
To be successful in this role, you should have a university degree in Law / Economics / Accounting / Finance, preferably with experience in financial services or related industries. You must be an active team player with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work under pressure. An excellent command in both spoken and written English and Chinese is required, with proficiency in Putonghua a plus.

Paralegal – Insurance Litigation
We are looking for a paralegal to provide legal support to our substantive and expanding insurance litigation practice. The successful candidate will work with a team of experienced lawyers. The principal responsibilities include interviewing witnesses and collating information for advising insurer clients, legal research, preparation of court documents such as pleadings, list of documents, witness statements and bundles relating to personal injuries, employees' compensation, property and other claims; etc.
The successful candidate should possess:
- A diploma/degree in legal studies or a degree in other professional discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferably gained in a legal or insurance practice
- Good understanding and knowledge of law, particularly in the areas of employees' compensation and insurance
- Good writing skills
- Excellent English and Chinese language skills
- Good organisational skills

Senior Intellectual Property Lawyer
Deacons' Intellectual Property Department is looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our award winning team.
You will have between 4 and 6 years of post qualification experience in Intellectual Property, preferably with both IP litigation and commercial IP experience.
The successful candidate will handle a wide range of IP related matters including IP litigation, commercial IP, entertainment, privacy, copyright, patents, trade secrets and trade marks.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading IP practice handling high quality and varied IP work at a senior level.
Fluent Chinese (Putonghua) skills are preferred but not essential.
