The position is Hong Kong-based but may involve business travels.
Applicants should ideally be admitted as Hong Kong solicitors. However we also welcome applicants with requisite legal skills who have been admitted in other jurisdictions. Funds Lawyers
We are looking for bright lawyers with three or more years' post qualification experience, ideally in the financial services, funds and regulatory area, although applicants with a China, commercial or corporate finance background, wishing to make a career change, would also be considered.
- Solicitors from overseas jurisdictions need not be admitted in Hong Kong, although experience in Hong Kong / Asian markets would be an advantage
- Excellent English is a prerequisite; written and spoken Chinese (particularly Mandarin) would be an advantage
- All applicants should have an excellent academic record, a sound training to international standards and strong inter-personal skills

The successful applicant will have at least 4 years of post qualification experience with a major international, Hong Kong or PRC firm and will be looking for an opportunity to contribute to the practice groups success, in a practice support role. He or she may be required to undertake some client work and therefore should possess a strong transaction record in commercial and corporate areas with relevant China experience. Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese are required.
